Not sure which one I am going to do. I would love to do the roses, but when I showed a picture of it to FH he said looks expensive. Has anyone done the actual math?

I read once on this board that you can go gas stations and get those cheap roses, dry them out and put them in the petal cones. It's cheaper than having your florist sell them to you.

I don't have the actually amount I spent on rose petals, but I got a great deal from Flyboy on freeze dried petals. I liked the dried ones better, because they were lighter and floated through the air. Check out their specials. That's where I got mine from and they were in perfect condition. I think mine were called 'Reba'.

Hey!

My florist is filling the cones for us, and that was pretty much thrown in.

The cones are cheap to make them yourself. They are just paper...with pretty font.

I am not doing petals I am doing bubbles but price club also has roses that you can buy I think 3 dozen for like 12 bucks. YOu don't need too many just a few per person. I just think it would look prettier then bird seed. JMO

Make sure you get the bubbles that specify that they don't stain. I heard that some will stain your dress.

my florist is throwing in the rose petals for free. ask your florist about it.

each cone only gets a few petals anyway, so it's not that expensive.

flower michelle actually gave me the idea of buying the 2 dozen for $10 flowers because they charged a lot for rose petals and that would help me save money
