anyone doing..............

IS there anyone else out there that is doing their own makeup for the big day????

- i have this thing of people doing my make up, i mean i kinda dont feel comfortable having someone else do it. I am so used to doing it since i was 13 that its just my thing...... I feel like the only one that dosent want someone else doing their make up......

I would do my own except I am not goos at it. I want to make sure it comes out in pictures and stays on all night

true true, i am very good @ it....Some say to get a trial & see how i like it...... I just wanna look like mewith darker lips & some shimmer powder haha

i always said that i didnt want anyone to do mine either, i usually dont like it, but on my wedding day, i dont know if ill be nervous or shaky and dont relaly wanna deal with it, so i am jsut going to try and find someone who will do it natural looking.

but i dont see the problem in doing it yoursef at all!!! go for it

I was gonna do it myself, but I am afraid that if I do it the makeup wont last for the whole day. Plus with all the stress I am afraid I might get a zit or something that I can't cover up!

i wish i could do my own - it would save so much $$$ but I'm really terrible and for one day i want to feel gorgeous!

The only thing I will suggest is that a good professional makeup artist will know how to do your makeup for pictures. Even though you like the way you do it, it may not look as good under the lights of your photographer.

i think i might do my own... but i'm going to go to a good MAC counter and see what colors they recommend - i can put make up on, but i'm bad at picking out colors for myself. also, i heard MAC is supposed to come out with a spray fixative for make-up, not sure if it's out yet, but a lot of make up artists use this type of stuff.

I would do my own but I don't really wear maek up that much so Iwouldn't know where to begin I just basically put a little eyelinger lipstick and some mascara and I would love to look different on my wedding day so I want to have someone do it for me

My mom and I are doing my makeup and hair. I have had my makeup done before, and I never liked the way it looked.

I never wear makeup so I have no idea how to put it on...but luckily my sister works for Clinique and is excellent at doing makeup. So she's going to be doing my makeup the day of.

I would do my own but its going to be that one day that i dont want to worry about anything - i normally always do all my own updo's for my friends too...but ont this day

I think I am going to do my own make-up. I do have a fear of someone else doing it and screwing up and making me look ridiculous. I definitely do not need that on my Big day!!!

I was kind of thinking the same thing... I had a trial and loved her.. but I felt that I didn't look like me at all. I don't wear makeup on a daily basis.. only when we go out... so I feel like I have a better idea of what I want to look like.. but I am fearful that I will mess it up

thats how i feel!!!!!!!! i had a few people do my eyes & i felt like a frikcin clown or the other did soo light u didnt even notice i had anything on haha!

Ditto, well actually i wear it everyday, i worry like the other girl said alot the zit or something, but i have my whole wedding party to help cover that up with me....

yeah me 2~! I have been testing out a bunch of different manufac. of cosmetics & found a bunch of eyeliners & shadow that last long even when i do it... Only thing i didnt find is a good lipstick/real thick long lasting lip gloss.... Anyone know of good ones they like???
