If you plan on doing, this ask Timber Point first. I wanted to do a cookie bar with an outside vendor and they told me no. They offered their own cookie bar for more than double the price. I think it has to do with outside food vendors that they don't allow. Not sure about your own candy though. Good luck!

Also, I've seen really nice jars at Home Goods for cheaper than I've seen elsewhere

That's one reason I didn't book with them, we asked if we could do a candy buffet and were told we could but had to use their vendor for it. It was way cheaper if we did our own. Maybe you can persuade them to let you bring your own stuff. If you can check out Home Goods. That's where I found a lot of my jars.

Ikea had some cheaper ones. Look out for sales on Michaels and AC Moore, Sunday paper usually has coupons. I found cheap ones at TJ Maxx too.

Yes I asked about a candy bar and my BM looked at me like I had two heads before he said I could, but I would have to get it approved by them and I couldn't do it myself, it would have to be through a vendor.
