Anyone doing a signature drink? purple drink ideas
I have to talk to the RH about this....but i was googling for some purple drink ideas and this is what i came up with...
Purple drinks (i would rename them)
PURPLE NIRPLE MARTINI Vodka, Blue Curacao, Cranberry Juice, Lime Juice, Grenadine
PURPLE PEOPLE EATER Bacardi Limon, Blue Curacao, Dry Vermouth, Cranberry Juice
Purple Flirt Smirnoff Vodka, Romana Sambuca & Cranberry Juice $8
Purple Passion Hypnotic, Alize Red Passion, Blue Curacao, Pineapple Juice & Cranberry Juice
Purple Haze Stoli Razberi, Chambord, Cranberry Juice & a Floater of Champagne
Purple Nurple #1 recipe 1 oz Malibu® coconut rum 1 oz triple sec 1/2 oz Blue Curacao liqueur 2 oz cranberry juice served in old fashioned glass
Purple Rain Martini Made with Rain Vodka, Black Raspberry Liqueur, Cranberry Juice and a splash of Blue Curacao.
Do you think RH will charge extra for this? There is an open bar, of course i would have to see what they actually carry. Dont know if they would have hypnotic/alize type drinks. They all sound good to me, what do you think?

great post.. i was thinking of doing a singnature drink as well but with blue.. sorry im not much help, but im looking into some options so if i find anything i will let you know. Im sure the girls on here will have lots of advice though! :)

You got a whole lot of purple drink recipes, they look mighty good, i am guessing your theme is purple? A bright purple drink will compliment everything

You could name the drink whatever you want, it doesn't have to be the official name of it...many couples use their names in a cute way or something about them

this page is from the majestic gardens website. These are all siganture drink tables..I would loveee to do this! maybe you'll get some inspiration. When i spoke to majestic (before i booked CB) they said the bride and groom do all this themselves.. bring the stuff and i think they said they will set it up.. so i dont know how other reception halls work..but i just think its soo cute..check it out they have a bunch of good pics

Here are a few sites to check. We are using drink recipes we like and renaming them. There are some ideas for drink names too.
His last name ends with 'stein' (they pronounce it steen) so we are having a signature drink called the _ _ _ _ _ steini ) (like martini)
We are doing the something old, new, borrowed blue drinks and we re going to Jamaica for our HM---so, we are making a mojito and adding blue curaceau and calling it a Jamaican mohito or something.

the pics on this website are amazing! makes me wish i looked at Majestic Gardens even though i love my RH

i know..the pics are really amazing.. but my fav. pics were the ones on the page i sent, and when i inquired they told me the bride and groom does all that..they just set it up.. so i was like oh man id have to come up with all this myself.. i want someone to take that pic and do exactly that for me and then i wouldnt have to worry about it. i'm great at being creative for someone else's wedding or party, id actually love to get into planning..but when it comes to my own im like a total basket case..lmao! it really is a nice place though and the prices are pretty reasonable for anyone looking to check it out :)

BTW im a bartender.. so you think this part of the planning would be easiest for me!!??? lol. sorry..just replied again cause its 8am..no one is on yet... im bored and i have no idea why i am up this early!! Our RH will ask FH & I a bunch of questions like where we met ,what we like, where our honeymoon is etc. and then they come up with a signature drink for us and name it as well.

I haven't had one since college, but I used to love a drink called a Purple MotherF*cker. But that's probably not helpful...
There has to be a way to make a purple martini.. I feel like that's what I'd do with a purple theme.

we are doing a tropical signature dring not sure what though. The guy at the RH actually recommended it. I think we are going to do some Guava Liliquoi (sp?) or Mango something.

she can use that drink...the thing about signature drinks is most of the time ppl don't use the actual name of the drink, you or the RH come up with a cute name for the drink, something that has to do with the two of you, even your names can be incorporated into it
for example and no were not doing this but just throwing it out there, Fh and I can name one Espotini
