I work in construction so I can't wear my engagement ring to work, SO I won't be able to wear my matching band to work either. We are ordering matching everyday wedding bands so I can wear that to work and change when I get home. How are you adding it to your ceremony if you are doing all three rings?

Re: Anyone doing a three ring ceremony?
My wedding planning feels like a three ring circus, does that count?
Seriously, though, even though I am not doing this, I would think that you should choose the one that matches your engagement ring and do the ceremony with only that one. It's not as though the ring you wear every day needs to be invested with some magical power the day of the wedding for it to count; it's just a symbol of your marriage, not the marriage itself. You would never wear all three rings together, so what would you do with the other band afterwards? Is there a special reason why you want to include both rings that day?

I would wear the every day ring on my right hand when I have my `good ones' on the left.

I don't see a point in having the 3rd band incorporated in your ceremony. Just go about the exchange of your 'good' ring, and change it later.

I agree....
I think eventually I will get FH(DH) and I another band for everyday use.
But would NEVER think of inc. it into the ceremony- NO NEED!!! IMO

I am not doing two rings either. If you are having a religious ceremony you may want to consider having the 2 rings with you so they can both be blessed. Other than that there is no point in bringing them both to the wedding. If you do bring it give it to your mom or someone close to hold for the day.

Re: Anyone doing a three ring ceremony?
Don't you think this routine will get tiresome? I know a cop who does this...and after only 3 years of marriage, she only wears the 'everyday' ring except for special occasions. I'd forgotten what her real rings looked like until her daughter's brithday party! If you are going to have 2, you might as well put the nice ones away and wear them to dinner/dates and special occasions because the routine will probably get old of changing everyday at 5.

Re: Anyone doing a three ring ceremony?
No, I don't think the routine will get boring at all. I love my engagement ring. I put it on everyday when I walk in the door at 2:00. I am lucky that I get home so early. To not wear it, to me, would be a shame for all the sentiment and meaning behind the ring.
That is also why I am asking how a third ring could be incorporated into the ceremony somehow. Not to be told it is a waste, or boring or anything else.
I really don't care about that version of the opinion, obviously, I'm doing it. I was just inquiring if anyone else had that could give ideas.

We had a church ceremony and all of the rings were blessed. The deacon gave the 'plain' ring to a family friend to take home. HTH

That's a really good idea. If you don't want to send the everyday ring packing right after the ceremony you could always wear it on your right hand so that all three rings would remain part of the day.

He's slipping both my plain band and my matching band at the same time.
