We had to do a wedding website because 80% of our guests were OTT and foreigners and we wanted to give them some info about us, our wedding logistics, tourist attractions, hotel room blockage options, pictorial history, registries, etc. Many of our OTT guests were unable to attend but were able to know all the details and were able to see our wedding pics.

We did one through wedding channel.com and it was so easy. They tell you how to set it up, step by step.

we did ours through weddingchannel.com too. Its good if you dont have a lot of time (im a full time law student while working for a judge and my FH goes to school and works full time) and this was the easiest way for me. It has a guest list and links to your registry. This is ours Meg&Dave

My DH did ours....and we decided it was necessary b/c we were getting married in Italy and had a lot of information to make available to our guests!

NYCHICK, You don't have to be a web designer to create a site.
* Weddingchannel.com * geocities.yahoo.com * theknot.com all have templates that you can use to make it easy.

NYCHICK Its a snap! Just choose a site to use like those listed and follow the directions! The pay sites let you post LOTS more as far as pictures and information, and the free ones like wedding channel.com kind of stresses the registry before the website which I didnt like, (the knot is a good free one), but it's all good, and VERY EASY....now go have some fun!!
