Re: anyone doing dance lessons???
I would love to....I'm still trying to convince FH to do it - hopefully I can persuade him to take them.

FH mentioned it, but we haven't looked into that yet! I wouldn't even know what dance to learn!

Everytime I bring it up to FH he does one of these
But I'm hoping to convince him somehow.

honestly, my FH is SOOOOOO not the type of guy who would EVER take dance lessons. He is such a 'mans man'. See if you can get him to go for a free trial..... maybe you could do him a favor in exchange if he at least trys it!!

MY FH took lessons while he was in law school. I think it was like finishing school! So Arthur Murray says he can teach me. He kills me sometimes.

We're taking dance lessons to 'organize' our first dance...otherwise, FI would be all over the place and I'd be leading!

I totally agree. Most men think they would feel awkward, but once they actually try it, they find that they are pretty comfortable with the whole concept of lessons. I also take lessons with John of Ballroom dancing. Try and convince your FH to just go for the free trial lesson and then take it from there.
Good luck

Re: anyone doing dance lessons???
we'd like to take lessons too. actually, i was pretty surprised when FH responded with a 'maybe' instead of a definite no. i guess that means he's into it, but too 'manly' to say yes.
there must be some good, inexpensive options...

I am still working on FH. I think it would be so much fun. Maybe we will rent 'Shall we Dance' too.

FH hates to dance, but he agreed to take lessons so he will feel less awkward during that first dance.

Me, FH, my mother and her boyfriend are talking Ballroom lessons together and love it! We get 5 private lessons and 5 group lessons -- all for $100 (total for ALL of us!)

I'd love to take lessons and have it choreographed but this is just one of those things FH won't budge on...

Thats great...I've mentioned it to FH and he didn't say no...but he didn't say yes either...so theres room to work him... For that price I KNOW I could convince him...where are you taking them
