How did you wrap them? I want to do red, white and blue M&Ms with a win for life ticket and I am not sure how to wrap them. I was planning on getting an organza bag but then I started getting concerned about putting a scratch off in it with something you are going to eat. Any suggestions?

i NEVER give lotto tickets to anyone as a gift!! Can you imagine if they won on your ticket i would die!!!
I guess that is the stubborness in me!
To answer your post, why don't you put the m&m's in the bag, punch a whole in the corner of the ticket and tie it with ribbon to the bag..just a suggestion

I guess my feeling is that if someone walks out of there with $20 its a nicer favor than a $3 gadget. Chances are good too if I buy all of them at once. The hole in the corner was an idea, I guess I have to make sure it is still valid if you do that. Has anyone else done that before?

I gave lotto tickets for fun at my rehearsal dinner. Two of my FG's won $10 each. Hey you never know.

But on the greedy side... it stinks to only get a losing lotto ticket as a favor. You go away with nothing. (not that the idea stinks, just losing does)

Since we're not doing favors we decided we might do this and put our new address tied to it or something with a saying 'Hope you're as lucky as we are...'

i just saw a picture of this idea in modern bride that i picked up yesterday. the way they had it wrapped up was SO gorgeous. it had a link to the site they got it from so i'll find that and post a link to it. they were in like really cute see-through envelopes.
My friend used the cellophane bags that were folded over and held down with a penny or a sticker. She also put a really nice poem with the ticket about how bride and groom won for life when they met and fell and love and hope to pass this luck to you, etc. I can get the exact thing she used if you want, just FM me. It was really cute and one person at our table won $40!

that is a very unique idea. What if someone does win?? Are they going to give you half..hehehe
In my family we often do this for birthdays..no big wins but it is fun..my father won $100 once.

We did Win for Life tickets as our favors. I put them in note cards with a saying about being as lucky as we are... Our guests loved them. We had a coupld of 40.00 winners , a few 20.00's and quite a few 2.00. We also did Jordan Almonds which I did seperate in a tulle bag.
