I love the ones on Crystal Wedding Tree.com, and adding strands and drops of crystals. What do you think? Are they for winter only or can you get away with them any time of year?

I think the are great! I was looking into the DIY Manzanita trees with hanging votives; veryyyyyy expensive though! Mitsumata is cheaper. here's a link for you if you wanna DIY!
I think they can fit any season! Depends how you dress them up.

I am looking to do the same thing for my wedding. I am having my wedding in January. Check out the webiste save-on-crafts . com
And someone else had suggested buying the crystals on e-bay. They come 2,000 per bag for about $30.00, but then you have to strand them yourself. I figure I have a year and 1/2 to do them!!

There is a small thread on the centerpieces that you can get some ideas from. I don't know how to attach it, but if you search for Winter Crystal Tree Centerpieces you should get the right one

The only thing that stinks with getting these anywhere is that the shipping is sooooo much. I just did ONE branch on save on crafts and the branch was 12.00 and SHIPPING was 46.00!!!!!!!!!
Thats honestly the one thing that has been turning me off to doing this.

I know!!! I did a check out on a 30-40 inch branch. I think they are considered oversized freight; thats why.
