My fi said he wants us to write our own vows. I better start that now. I do love him with all my heart, but I have trouble putting it on paper. I also have trouble speaking in front of a large group.

no, not doing it... wedding is stressful enough and I hate speaking in front of people, I get too nervous... I really dont like attention, thats why we have been putting off the wedding but I finally realized that if we dont do it I will regret it in the future...

Office Memos, instructional handouts - I'm great. Emotional stuff? I'd rather just say whatever comes to mind, but I'm not stupid enough to try that.

Yup.....we are wrtiing our own.
MIne is on paper - I have been tweeking it & reading them out loud for timing So far it takes abt 6 mins to read

We are doing our own. Nervous, but both of us think that the purpose of having a ceremony in front of your family and friends is to publically express our love and commitment. Saying our vows aloud is an intimate and special way to include our guests and really communicate the depth of our love. I am looking forward to it.

Hey Bunny congrats. on being a fellow Raphaeler!!! My wedding is just a month & a half away so I will let you know how everything goes...but I am so psyched!! Julie is the best, isn't she??
