Has anyone done this for placecards? I thought it would be cute but i'm trying to figure out something other than moss to put in there...maybe an herb. rosemary maybe? any suggestions?

The only thing with using an herb or something loose is that it might be messy. I sort of like the moss. (Although it does look a little like a chia head!!)

haven't done it, but maybe you can try glueing loose lavander? that way it smells pretty as well?

A wedding I went to last year had this. They made it themselves and got supplies from Michael's. To be honest with you it was cute, but I left it behind.

My sis did it, i don't have a pic of it though. It wasn't hard at all, we did it the day before the wedding. The only thing annoying was getting the twigs to go into the ball without breaking. we wound up putting a nail in first.

I think these are really cute. I like the moss, grass would probably work well.
