Anyone else

Trying to save money for your wedding and end up spending fri and sat nights at home BORED???? Well this sucks if you ask me!

I wish I was home bored. We are trying to save money so I babysit on the weekends and where is FH? out with our friends It sucks, but in the end it will be worth it.

I totally understand what you mean. We're home almost every Friday and Saturday night. But we feel it will all be worth it in the end.

Seriously! FH plays with his Fantasy Sports and I do this.. Nice and relaxing..

We actually just got back from dinner.. We are now going to watch the Growing Pains reunion movie that we Tivo'd and make fun of the cast.. yes, we are the biggest losers!!

I'm home tonight but because I have work to do. Also FH is in DC at his best man's bachelor party. We've been spending too much money on the weekends anyway, so it's better I'm not out spending $$ on drinks!

we just watch a lot of movies :P What's sad is that with my student loans right now, I probably have more money at my disposal than I will next year after we're married since we're keeping everything we get in an account to put a down payment on a house someday...

FH and I are also home every weekend. He usually comes over and I'll cook dinner and sundays we just watch football. I hear what you girls are saying though, it will be all worth it in the end. For now I guess I could skip the friday night happy hours

Seems there are lots of things, PG rated, to do. Today we went apple picking. Can cook for each other -- and have friends come over. Netflix for movies. I don't know, for me, FI still is doing a decent amount of travelling for work so those nights together are all about canoodling.

Yes, now I am thinking that net flix reallly would be worth the money. I feel like they never have anything in Blockbuster these days or maybe that is because we have seen everything already?
But yes I do agree it will all be worth it on the day of the wedding I guess we just need to hang in there. Once it gets really cold I am not going to want to go out anyway!

OMG we did the exact same thing this weekend. We sat down to watch the Growing Pains reunion this afternoon...I thought it was so cheezy that we didn't even finish watching it.

The one thing I hate about saving for the wedding is not being able to go shopping. I love shopping, but I'm sacraficing new clothes for the year so we can save more money.
