get the annoying questions from people...'why are you waiting so long to get married??' I know we've discussed this before. It's been coming up a lot lately, I guess because we are close to booking our RH. I just want to scream when people ask me that. I find it sooo rude. This is our choice that FH and I made together and there were a lot of factors involved in making that decision. Why do people have to make me feel so crappy?????

yeah i hear it all the time too and its only like 14 1/2 months for me. people need to mind their business. unless they are paying and planning your wedding. they have no say!

I got it and still get it all the time and you know what it does feel like a long time! But that's just because I'm so freakin excited!! I have a year and a half to my wedding and I know how fast it's going to go by and I'm happy to have over a year to plan. I couldn't imagine just having a year and feeling so rushed, I'd really be a b**ch!!. Hang in there and don't let people get you down, they're all idiots anyway lol!

it can get annoying but i dont let it get to me. Some people dont get it. Older people really dont get it because people didnt wait that long years ago. Younger people dont get it either... the are too immature to realize what it costs and goes into it.
what I noticed with my family is that they were just so excited for us, we had been together over 7 years when we got engaged, that they just couldnt understand why we wanted to wait 2 years. I knew they were just happy for us

I know... we always feel like we have to tell people we want to buy a house before we get married because of the long pause after we say 10/31/09....what ever... I shouldn't explain anything to anyone.. people are just dumb!!!

yeah, i think we've all heard that one at least once.
the date is only 1 year and 9 months after we got engaged...that's not a lot! we wanted to really enjoy being engaged too...it only happens once (hopefully )

I think I've said it before on here, but I make everyone feel stupid when they ask me because I simply tell them the truth:
I was diagnosed with Stage 4 non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma in September and I'm going through chemo and radiation until March, and I would like to not be bald on my wedding day, so I need some time to let my hair grow back at least.
That usually shuts them up.

I actually had a vendor call me back and leave a msg on my phone saying... 'well ya know... august 2009 is pretty far off ' I am inquiring about your company and you dont want my money??? ... That kinda annoyed me
