Get a call from RH they looked at saying that their prices have gone down? This week I rcvd a call from 2 of the venues I looked at in January saying that they could give me a better price then what was previously quoted.
I was like, '***? Why would you tell me know!' I guess this economy is hitting them hard too!

No but I still get calls asking me if I want to book with them...Some of these places I looked at almost a year ago, ummmm do they think i still want to book there??!!

no i never received any of those phone calls. but the places i looked at, after i booked my RH i called them & said that i found another place so thats probally why i don't get any of those phone calls.

Really... My friend is booked at VYC.... I dont know what they are paying but I wonder if they can call and just say they heard their proces dropped. Even if they won't bring the price down they should throw in extras.... Thanks for the info

That's funny. That happened to m right after I booked photography. I got like three calls and a couple of emails with photographers telling me they lowered their prices.

yes since i gave fh's number ( so i don't get annoying calls) he gets call from cateres saying their prices have gone down lol poor fh lol

Giorgio's called me a bunch of times after we met with them to tell us about additions to the menu, etc. Also, the Water's Edge calls me once a week. I feel so bad - should I call back and tell them I'm booked? I had another vendor email me, after I told her we were booked elsewhere, to do a tasting anyway. She was convinced that we would change our minds after we tasted the food. I think the economy is definitely making an impact on everyone.

I didn't call anyone back to tell them I wasn't booking. I really don't care, I'll never see them again. I know its the right thing to do, but I'm sure they're not losing sleep wondering if I'm gonna book or not. lol
