Come in way below their minimum??? We are prob goig to be around 135-140 and our min was 150...

Alot of girls did on this site. I know your RH is giving you troubles but maybe you can ask them if they can compensate you somehow. You will be paying your minimum anyway...or you can have LIW seat fillers :)
We weren't but I know a few girls said that when they did their final meeting/payment with their RH they threw in an extra station or something. Technically you are still paying for it but you feel like you got something out of it...or invite some LIW girls
We had a 200 minimum and came in at 195 guests (including 2 young kids). But we were able to count our vendors to meet the 200 and then paid 1/3 off for any vendors over 200. See if your vendors can count towards your minimum. You pay full price for them but it's better than paying full price for empty seats PLUS a vendor plate.
