Excited to marry thier best friend but nervous about everything else?

I mean to the point where I'm not super excited about the wedding itself. W should have eloped!!

Thank god! I was beginning to feel guilt and alone I was afraid to share! I hopewhen my dress comes in I'll be excited again!

Ugh I feel like every other day I'm like I wish we could elope and put a damn good down payment on a house!! Too far deep now lol

Every damn day. But fh keeps reminding me we're already $8K in deposits/payments into it, so too late to back out now!

Agreed!!! Just wanna wear a flowy dress, marry my best friend and drink champagne on top of a hill somewhere... Instead we are having over 200 people at our wedding!

I say this probably once a week lol. When we first got engaged, I wanted to have a destination wedding but my FH was against it. Now he's starting to come around....but we are in too deep with payments/deposits at this point. I'm super excited for our wedding but honestly can't wait to be on our honeymoon 2 days later.

yes yes and yes!!! we started talking about all the payments and hes just like I just want to be married. But he says I will be bored after its all over lol..but we are working on a honeymoon baby(and we have my 2 kids) so we wont be bored I assure him!!

I feel like I lose some excitement everyday for the wedding. Getting married no, I'm excited about that but the wedding is self not so much. :( mashes me so sad that it got this stressful!

Guuuurrrrrllllll! I can tell you stories for days. Almost 2 months away and I am like Eeeeeeeeeeeeeecccccckkkkkkkkkkk! And then I come home and no RSVP and then I am like UUUugggghhhhhh! I think my mailman is afraid of me and the guys at my job in the mailroom constantly call me to reassure me any package received for me will be sent ASAP to me ASAP. Poor guys. I need a drink. lol I just know when all is said and done everything will work out and it will alllllll be worth it.

This week I have just wanted to cancel everything, but fh reminded me we already sent out the stds lol

It really shouldn't be this stressful ....

I feel like this often. We discussed eloping or doing something very small on an island somewhere. However, I think if we didn't do it this way we would regret it a little bit. Honestly, when we go out with our friends and I see everybody laughing together and having a great time I get really excited for our wedding because I know it will be a blast.

I feel like that a lot. The planning is not fun for me, mainly because I get decision paralysis if I am given too many choices and options! Lol. Plus, every time we write out a check for another payment I feel a bit nauseous. It's a lot to take in.

I also don't like attention and am already nervous about not only the day itself, but for the bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, and everything in between.
