FH is at work. I am on vacation, but have been out of it the past 3 days with a fever and strep throat!!! I'd rather be working.

hehe I am at work too...in the reservations dept of a restaurant. Needless to say the phones have been silent since 9am.....and there are only 15 reservations for dinner

at work too.

Explain this one to me...I work for a real estate lawyer..in the banking division. Banks and courts are closed...why am I here? We had to take it as a floating holiday if we wanted off...most people did. I couldn't b/c i was last in my dept. to realize it was a holiday. It's Fh's Bday though, so I asked if I could leave at 1pm and they said okay...but I'm sooooo bored!

i work for my dad so i came in at 10 and im here here but im acutally not here if you knwo what i mean.

Aw I'm sorry you are all at work. I actually have this holiday off, but we usually don't have many holidays off.

I'm finally off for SOMETHING! I didn't get MLK day off...

But FH probably would have had work but switched with someone else so he would have a weekend off in a month.

But it was really weird today--I went running and the neighborhood was ABANDONED. I don't think the kids have off around here (NC)!

I'm staring out my window and there are like 3 ppl on the street. Hello???This is Manhattan. And what is more irriating is my train is on holiday schedule.

I know, I walked to work from Penn Station and my usually 25 min walk only took 15 cuz no one was on the streets...it's kinda creepy.

I am at work and like every day, I have nothing to do. The town of Huntington is like a ghost town. I have to leave early to get my taxes done tonight .... I hope my boss says I can leave early because I feel bad asking ....

I actually have off from work and rotation! Still have night class tonight though... work wanted me to come in tonight but I obviously couldn't because of class, the pharmacy never closes, people still need their drugs!
