Anyone else depressed about Holiday / Honeymoon Weight Gain?

I am so depressed - I've literally gained 10 lbs since my wedding! It was a combo of the honeymoon, the holidays, and traveling for work (where we ate out 3 meals per day)...

And to top it off, DH's family is weight-obsessed. It makes me so uncomfortable. I am the 'biggest' girl in their family right now! ETA: I am not even that big, but every other female in their family below 30 is like a size 0 - 2 (no, I am NOT kidding).

I know I should stop complaining and get outside and do something about it, but it is hard when it is so rainy and cold out.

ME! ME! ME! I've gained 10 pounds too. They say the average bride gains 19 pounds when they get married. What's worse is I'm still so tired that working out seems like the last thing I want to do! So, I'm there with you

I feel ya. I can't get to the gym as often as I'd like, we just got a puppy who needs a lot of our time to train and stuff.

I obsess over my weight all the time, and want to be in the best shape of my life before I have a baby, it's just so hard to be motivated when the weather makes you want to curl up on the couch!!!!

I know - I heard the better shape you are in before you get pregnant, the easier it will be to get back into shape afterward!!!!

Hey ladies - remember - this is the end of the year! As of right now, we can start eating healthier again, get back into our workouts... even if you are busy with work, puppies, etc- set aside some time for yourself - do squats in the morning, and some crunches, pack some healthy lunches for yourself...

we can do it ladies!!!

I'm so depressed about this! It doesn't help that at Christmas Dinner and stand up to help clear the table and my father says, 'wow Tonia you've gotten fat since the wedding' I almost started crying!

I'm stressed over losing the holiday weight! I plan on going on a strict diet and exercise regime on Jan 2. Which leaves me 4 months till my dress comes in...

I've been trying so hard to lose weight before i have to order my dress and i'm sure i've put some of it back on from the holidays. It stinks to work so hard for months and have a few days ruin that work. oh well jan 1st is a new start.

I read in Shape that if you are not heavy to begin with, if you just go back to your regular habits, your body will bounce back into shape - no need to diet....
