I reallllllly want mine long for the wedding, but growing it out is driving me crazy!!!!! I almost cut it myself this weekend

I ordinarily have medium-length hair with lots of layers, but have grown it longer than I would normally wear it. Since my hair grows so fast, I'm at the hair salon every 6 weeks like clockwork. I can't do that though and it gets me so mad when she just cuts off like 1/2 an inch because it'll grow back in a week.
I am making an appointment to get my hair cut the day after the wedding though.

I'd like to cut my hair to just about shoulder length, to get some of the weight off of it. My hair is so heavy in a ponytail But I have to wait at least 109 days to do it.

i said the same thing about cutting it before the honeymoon. i have no desire to straighten it cause its so long. its such pain.

LOL... my hair dresser wouldn't let me cut it for 2 1/2 years between when we got engaged and the wedding. I've been married almost 2 months, but after my cousin's wedding ( I'm a BM) it's all getting cut off... I don't see myself having long hair again for a few years!!!!!!

OMG!!!! I find myself envying every girl with short hair!! I can't wait! I'm donating my hair to 'Locks of Love' if any of you have more than10 inches you should consider it too!

I'm chopping mine the week I get back from my HM! I can't wait! my split ends have split ends! That's how bad it is... but everyone keeps telling me I need to leave it long!

Everyday I b i t c h about how much my hair is driving me nuts!!! It's so long that's it has no life in it!!! I cannot wait to chop it after the honeymoon!!!!!

I am chopping the day after the wedding before we leave for the honeymoon. My hair is almost at my waist. I am wearing it down or half up at the wedding. Then I am donating it for breast cancer patients.

Did you look into locks of love? I did some preliminary research - did you know that if your hair isn't exactly 10 inches or more they sell your hair for fair market value? And they only make like 130 wigs a year and will only give them to children who have diseases where they suffer permanent hair loss. I am going to donate to Panete's charity for women with breast cancer. Just letting you know.

I cut mine all off as soon as we got back from the HM. I chopped off 9 1/2 inches and donated to Locks of Love. It was SUCH a relif when I cut it off......it felt so light and airy

YES LOL I normally have either very short shaggy hair or a Hallee Berry short style haircut and FH loves them both. I actualyl DO my hair then lol because its simple-5 miniutes. but this above the shoulders crap gets yanked back into a ponytail every day!

This post is hilarious!! I totally can't wait to cut my hair! I've been growing it out for the wedding. I had short hair for TEN years, and I MISS IT! My FH LOVES my hair short too! He can't wait until I cut it as well! Here's what I used to have...I can't wait to do this cut again! I got SO many compliments on it. From total strangers! It was REAL short in the back, and I'd spike it up, then longer in the front. FUN cut! I'm with you girls!!! right before the HM, I just might do this again! We'll see! I've had fun with the long, but short is SO much easier, and I just had more fun with it!
