i mean, once i have a fam and are doing all the things with the kids, it wouldnt be as bad... but right now, it is a big change... even FH feels that way at times... its not as bad for him bc he works out here so hes got coworkers not too far

FH grew up in the area and all of his friends are here. I have adjusted...it was a chore...thank goodness for fh

It really is a huge adjustment! I moved to the Bronx from Manhattan a year ago and I am still not used to it! I like the Bronx and all but I don't know how to drive and if FH can't take me anywhere, I am screwed! It used to take me 15 minutes to get to my two best friends houses in astoria and now it takes at LEAST an hour (sometimes two on the weekend!) I really need to learn how to drive!

ugh...nice to know that im not alone on this... i mean i like it here but sometimes it really gets me upset.... i think the other day was the first time since i moved back in july that when i came back to the bronx, i felt some sense of relief/happiness come over me... everyone we know is there or in westchester... we used to go out sooo much more .... anytime we're bored, we'd be at the neighborhood bar with our friends and the bartenders who all know n love us LoL ... and i may get blasted for this, but im not used to the 'uppityness' of the chicks around LI... i have the bronx attitude that just doesnt mix with people around here haha

It's amazing..if people came to me neighborhood I think they would truly be shocked at how suburban it really is! I have never been to gleason's but I have been driven past it several times..We should definitely hang out when you are in the area! You can show me all the hot spots!

we got over a foot

as long as it's nice out the days we fly down and back with no crazy A$$ delays i will be happy
i gotta remember to toss a few DVD's in my back pack for the kiddo just in case it at least keeps her happy for a little while.
