anyone else feel like this?

does anyone else feel that since their wedding is so far away you will have it all planned really soon?
or at least know exactly what you want way before you need to know or book it?
i normally am a very indecisive person when i am given too many choices...so i thought 'oh boy wedding planning! there's soooo many choices for everything! how will i decide!!'
but i've had a long time to think about what i want for my wedding while waiting for FH to propose

and now that we have a date and i can actually start planning i feel like i know exactly what i want or will know when i have to decide on things such as invitations, save the dates, limo, flowers, dresses, etc.

Just curious as to how the other 2012 brides are doing!

Sort of...I have a very good idea of the vendors I want to book, I have my day of itinerary planned, I know pretty much how I want to do everything. One thing I know from being on the 2010 board is that things are gonna happen that we aren't prepared for, we're gonna change our minds about different things, etc.
When we're like a year away, let's have this conversation again.

Knowing me, I will prob have everything done within the next year leaving me nothing to do from May 2011-May 2012... lol

I mean there is always something to do but the major stuff will prob be done.

I'm on the ball. I want to get it all done. I'm not one to procrastinate.

Yes! I feel like this but it's better for me because it's relaxing knowing that I can enjoy 2011 since everything is booked.

ITA! I want to have all the vendors booked by summer of 2011 so I have a whole year to just save money/pay the vendors and focus on the little details that I get so excited about.

I feel like this a little, but I am going to enjoy the process instead of making myself crazy trying to rush everything.
