Lately I just feel so emotionally drained and vulnerable. I cry at the drop of a hat and everything upsets me. Last night I cried until 3:30 in the morning because my mother accused me of not caring about my shower (because I didn't find out from FMIL who on her side fo the family was coming. Um, I thought that wasn't my job). I'm tired and I just don't care anymore. And I just feel really down. I'm not excited about my shower, especially since my mother is giving me trouble about it. I just feel like I'm crazy because I'm sad all the time lately.

Planning a wedding is emotionally draining, so it is only natural to feel this way! And your mom should be asking your FMIL, not you! Feel better :)

I feel ya...we're reaching the home stretch and now is when I was expecting to get stressed out. I've been feeling emotional too but I think it's normal. I had the same dilemma with my shower, I felt like I was planning that too! Like I don't have enough to do! Don't worry, it's almost June and then we can finally relax!!!

It's normal do be sensitive during such an emotional time. I find myself getting worked up about that I wouldn't normally give a crap about. Everything's gonna be fine

I cried a lot too. I think it is completely normal. On the day of your wedding and when it is all over, you will breathe a sigh of relief as this huge weight is lifted off your shoulders. Then you and your DH can enjoy each other without wedding stress!

I've been crying a lot too lately. At first I thought it was PMS but I can't be PMSing all the time! I feel on edge and I get emotionally very easily and mad over the smallest things. I think/hope this is normal and just stress related. I will be so glad once all this planning is over.

I feel the same way my depression has kicked in I was up till about 3 crying my eyes out my dear husband was up trying to help me , my mom woke up and thought something happened or I was in pain

i'm not super excited either...it's this upcoming Sunday.
FMIL caused a big fight a few months ago when she wanted 5 of her 'friends' (3 of whom she doesn't even speak to) there. It caused such heartache. And the best part is, FMIL STILL doesn't understand that it was supposed to be a surprise.
On top of that, my dad had come up with a great cover...I NEVER would have figured out when my shower was had FMIL not done what she did.

I feel like everytime I cross something off my list, I have to add 7 more.
I have been feeling overwhelmed and sometimes I feel like I am doing all of this stuff and no one cares.
But other times, I am very happy that I am going to marry my best friend.

OMG - we need to talk! I completely understand - plus, we are both getting married on the same day - this is the home stretch - everything needs to be done, plus we cant neglect our other responsibilities - i have to take 2 personal days just to write my research paper (which I'll be bothering you about, I'm sure!)
All I remember is last summer, going like gang busters to get everything done, and everyone saying - why the rush - you have PLENTY of time - and you know what?
I didn't!!!

I can totally relate to that..I've had the same feelings! It's almost like you need to get away for the weekend by yourself just to get away from it all.
