OK this is pretty horrible...but the RSVPs have been rolling in and they are ALL YES'!!!!!!! We only invited 179 but i really wanted it under 150 and some people who we were kind of counting on as nos are rsvping yes!!!!! It's not that we 'can't afford' it, which is why we invited them, but i would prefer to not spend all this money!!! And some of these people i dont even know!!!!! why do they want to come to my wedding?!?!?!?! lol

I know exactly how you feel. I am a bit nervous about fitting so many people in our reception room, although I hear that it is big enough.
I am a bit over whelmed but it all works out.
PS I just noticed you were in my PA class! Have you all gotten together again???? Happy the year is almost over? This is Veronica!

I feel the same way. I get excited when I get no's in the mail. his mother invited all these people that FH doesn't even really know.

Thats how I feel. I am so overwhelmed with how many people my parents have invited. I wish I would have eloped!!!! Well sometimes anyway

I'm hoping to get a bunch of no's when I finally send the invites. I know it sounds horrible, but I really just want my close friends/family there. I could care less about my parents' friends and distant cousins that they told me I must invite. I just want to meet my minimum for the hall, haha.

FH and I just had this talk before...we invited about 190 guests and guaranteed 125. I figured, it's summer etc and we might have trouble even meeting our mininum. So far we have only 3 no's though...if 20% don't come (is 20% still the gold standard to use as far as people not coming?) that would mean about 150 guests...!!

Don't worry about it, you will get some no's. People who are def coming always send their RSVP's right away. Relax and enjoy stalking the mailbox!
