not being able to share their gown with their FH? Okay, maybe I'm not explaining myself... My FH is my best friend and I tell him everything, even the littlest things you could imagine. Well, I would like to follow tradition and not have him see the gown until I am walking down the aisle in it. It feels so weird not being able to share such a big thing with him. I'm trying not to bust over here!!!
I know what you mean. He wants to be surprised, and I can't wait to see the look on his face.
I understand. I even asked my guy if he wanted to see and he said he wanted to see me walking down the aisle in it.
i'm having the hardest time not telling my FH about my dress. We talk about everything, and I have almost let it slip a few times. Just keep thinking about how much more special it will be on your wedding day when he first sees you if he doesn't know about your dress beforehand.
I understand what you mean. The otherday I got my headpiece and I was so excited I kept saying its in this bag don't you want to see it? He said yes of course but you cant show me its bad luck.. I just walked away with this sad smile on my face.
I know exactly what you mean... please, he's flipping thru my mags, pointing out what he thinks would look great etc. I am trying not to agree or disagree b/c I want him to be totally surprised!

OMG Yes!! I feel Exactly the same way! (And have told people this!) I've almost slipped and given away details about my dress a bunch of times, but I catch myself just in time!
Yes...I agree! I told him that it was ivory...not white because we will have to match his shirt for the tux. And by accident I let it slip that my dress is strapless...I was so mad at myself....but he doesn't want to see it either.
I know what style of dress my future wife likes.. but I definitely do NOT want to know the exact dress.. I want to be totally surprised. When she comes down the aisle.. is the FIRST time I wanna see her dress.
I haven't shown FH either and I want to so badly. We shop together and he tells me what looks good on me. I wish I could show him, but I can't because my mother says it is bad luck.
Yes!!! I kept feeling like I wanted to ask his opinion on ever detail and it was so hard keeping it from him!
