I was so calm the past few months, but now the past two weekends I've been getting such anxiety. I feel like even though I have 9 months, its going so quickly I feel like how will I get everything done.
Plus I still haven't ordered my dress yet.
I know its not just the wedding, its the house hunting and finishing up school. I'm 6 courses away from completing my Masters degree, and its stressing me out.
Anyone else starting to feel this way? Where are my May brides?

Im actually starting to get crazed about the lil things that I kow wont matter ,
menus, place cards, that kinda thing,, but its flying by

Honestly, I am pretty proud of how much I got done already. Don't get me wrong, time is flying but I figure I am going to save the DIY stuff for the winter when I am stuck in the house.

oh i'm feeling you.. i student teach in 2 weeks, plus working part time, plus doing all the little stuff, plus house hunting, every day stuff, finding money for everything, and well just life.. I feel like I have no down time whatsoever.. this is my only down time when I get 2 min to come on here!!

Yeah, I havn't even really thought about the little things other than STD magnets we're in the processing of making, but I'm just so stressed out.
I don't know if I will be able to do any DIY other than the CPs if we decide to go the candle route.
All I can say is thank god I won the DOC, because at least she'll be helping me the last two months before the wedding.

We had booked photo/video, and our DJ last year when our original date was a 2006 date, but then everything else was put on hold when we changed the date to 2007. I kept saying oh I have time, but now I'm running out of time and I know the next couple of months are going to be extremely busy and go by quickly.

ugh I've barely been eating either, but I only lost 1 lb. I just want to lose 10 lbs before I order the dress. That would bring me back to 130 lbs. and I'll be happy.

I'm with Toni here. Nearly all of my major vendors are booked aside of limos and video. None of it really stressed me. The big things seem to be a breeze BUT I am really starting to get anxious over the DIY things like the votive place cards, menu's, petal cones, table cards, ect. I am definitley not looking forward to addressing the invites and putting together the seating arrangements.

Yeah invites are another issue that I'm stressing over now even though they're not going out for another 6.5 months.

I definitely know how you feel - sometimes coming on here actually makes me more anxious because people do stuff sooooooooo far in advance it makes me panic!!! I want to enjoy planning and not rush everything. And I think that rying to choose stuff now is making it more difficult for me

Ok ladies...take a deep breath. I have been anxious about getting things done too. I'm a teacher and with school starting again, I feel like I won't be able to devote as much time to planning as I would like...but you know what, you can't stress out because you will have a beautiful day no matter what...it's your WEDDING DAY and you are marrying the man you love!!
The planning will get done....there are lots of weekends until 2007! The guests will have an amazing time, and probably will not pay attention to the minute details that we obsess over, and you will look beautiful because every bride is gorgeous! Enjoy being engaged

I'm an August bride but I feel the same way...I get panic attacks and start crying and even start second guessing if I'm making the right decision getting married (I have no doubt in my mind that my FH is the person I'm going to spend the rest of my life with...I just wonder if getting married is the right thing for us to do)...but don't worry its a normal part of the process
