Anyone else find that they just don't recharge on the weekend?

This makes me crazy- I usually have nice weekends but they just don't seem to restore me the way they should. I am so tired today. And I have no reason to complain, because I had a three day weekend. DH and I went to see his family in PA, which I always enjoy. We stay at a hotel so we have some time to ourselves. We got back Sat. afternoon and just vegged out for the rest of the day.

Yesterday we did some errands and I worked on some work-related things. I also got a lot of other stuff out of the way. I should feel accomplished, but I am bordering on exhausted.

Anyone else find that it's hard to ever really catch up and feel rested?

Absolutely!! Since we bought the house it's never about us and what we need anymore it's about the house and now about the baby on the weekends. DH and I work opposite shifts so the only time we have time to do things together or look at things together is on the weekends. Relaxing weekends we no longer know

Yes....lately i feel like the weekends go by sooo fast that i never have a chance to relax

I never feel like the weekends are long enough!

I couldnt agree more! I am always tired.
I am supposed to be at work in 2 minutes but I am still sitting here in my jammies!

I NEVER feel like I recharge on the weekends anymore because I'm usually running around trying to catch up on all the crap I didn't get to do during the week. Especially with my sister's wedding coming up and my wedding coming up. It's like there's no time to do anything. But I have today off, and I've put my foot down with myself and I'm staying home and being lazy!

I actually felt pretty good this morning which is a shocker because usually I'm still tired on Monday. By Wednesday - forgot it! I'm exhausted and can't wait for the weekend. It's a never ending cycle

I too, feel tired all the time. I figured it was because of the kids! The girls I work with who's vacations consist of going away and relaxing the whole time don't understand why I don't get 'excited' when I have a day off. I tell them because I am watching 2 kids, doing laundry, cooking and cleaning. I am NOT relaxing like they are on a 'real' vacation-lol!
