Anyone Else Forget to Put Directions???

....in their invitations...I honestly didn't even think about putting them into my invitations. Angelo just called and said his family told him there are people that are older and don't have access to computers and will need them. He didn't even think of it either. Can you tell I've never been married??? I had gotten all my invites ready when my mom mentioned it...90% of them were sealed and sent out. Did anyone else make this mistake?? His sister might get something together to send out to those who will need them. Most people I'm not worried about but there are a few I know will definitely need them. I actually got a reply today that said 'Please send directions.' WOOPS!!

aww--don't feel bad. it happens sometimes! i would maybe print out some directions and mail them to those older relatives who you know may not be able to find information online!

in this day and age--we forget that stuff cause we're used to googling or mapquesting stuff to find it!

Aw thanks! His family might put something together because they'll know better who needs them or not. I was thinking the same thing...'OH, most people will just mapquest it!' YEAH, the people who actually HAVE computers!! Oh well. I won't let something this small get me stressed. I know it will all work out somehow. I'm just curious if anyone else did the same?? I wish I had thought of it....but what can I do now??

Which is worse - forgetting to include directions, or including directions which are WRONG? (that would be ME)

Don't stress about it - most people go online and find specific directions for themselves regardless if they got them in the invitation. So, I'd mail them to those you feel really do need them (older guests etc), but overall don't go nuts. You definitely don't need to send them out to everybody you sent invitations to.

I forgot dirsctions to the church also. I'm sure they will call. Oh well, too late.

I remembered directions, but didn't put hotel information out of towners, and got bitched out by fh's grandparents for it... oy.

Can't you just pick up the phone and call and ask where the hotels are? Come ON people, I can't think of everything!

le sigh - this after, btw, we booked rooms and basically told everybody that might need one that we were doing so. but apparently it's not good enough unless it's on a little card in the invitation envelope.
