have you been visiting sites with pop ups. sometimes you click ok on these pop ups just to close it and then next thing you know you get popups wherever you go..its so annoying
you need to scan through your computer and delete the program that was loaded on your computer when you click ok on a pop up ...it might be spyware or something like that

At one point I installed some extra features for outlook and I got tons of popups when I did that. Could it be something like that?

I have had a major problem with this at work. I have cut my wedding research down to only sites I know. Spyware has downloaded itself onto my computer too many times and the IT dept recently gave me a warning that I better only surf 'reputable' websites. So I'm obviously taking it upon myself to determine that LIWeddings is a reputable website! Anyway, at work they use two programs to clean spyware off the computers. One is Ad-aware 6.0 and the other is Spybot 1.2. They can be downloaded off of the internet for free. That's all I know from the IT people here.

I had that problem a few weeks ago. My Fh thinks it was from ssoem vendor. I click on a lot of links, & do searches for a lot of weddignrelated stuff. Soem of thise stites are very amateur & may be the source fospyware.
He re-foramtted by hard drive. I am going to upgrade to the newer earthlink, It is supposed to have a spyware scanner.

sounds like spyware/hijackware. spybot should help. i think DH said there is another one out there (not adaware) that is getting to be really good. sometimes it is hard to get the junk out of the computer and some people have to reformat their machines. good luck getting rid of it!
