Anyone else have a Vera Wang-White dress?

Hi I'm new to these board. Getting married in November of 2012. I was wondering if anyone else will be wearing a Vera Wang White Dress for their wedding?

I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place or if there might be a better forum to post this in.

Anyway, I got this dress:

Now I knew I either wanted a Vera Wang White dress or to go to Klienfield's (sp?)

Can I say I HATED this dress when I looked through the Vera Wang booklet- the model i think just RUINS this picture.

ALSO I went in thinking I 100% DO NOT WANT a ball gown. I really hated ball gowns- I wanted a mermaid type of gown. I'm so skinny on top that all the form fitting dresses just hung on me and made me look like a little kid. The woman at the store INSISTED I try on a gown and I was so against it but once I did..I was in love! When it came time to decide it was between two Vera Wang Ball gowns and I went with the one above because I was in LOVE with the floral embroidery on the bodice..

Thank you! I get self conscious sometimes because I don't think the ball gowns are 'in' and I'm always afraid of looking stupid..lol

I am wearing a ball gown to.. I wanted mermaid as well but didnt like the way it looked and ended up with a Ball gown.. I just felt like a bride when i put the dress on!!

Awesome, I'm glad I'm not alone. When you look through all these magazines and websites you don't really see the big poofy ball gowns. Most are those fit and flare A-line type dresses

I went into the bridal salon wanting a ball gown, and ended up with a mermaid type dress!!!

They say that it is typical.

I just got a Vera Wang-White dress! I was blown away by how much I loved the dress the second I put it on. It felt so elegant, but a little different from the 'normal' wedding dress. Also, it had all the little details that I wanted in a dress. I got this one:
