My mom always seems to need to use the bathroom when i'm jst out of the shower and only half dressed. No wonder I'm always alte for work. We used to have 4 people share one bathroom and it wasn't as bad as this!

Used to...now we have two...can't live w/o my second bathroom.

I grew up with 7 siblings and 1 shower. Its not that big of a deal. You make it work.

Me with 4 siblings and 2 parents and one bathroom (not even an extra toilet). We just didn't do anything in the bathroom except wash and use the toilet. All other grooming went on elsewhere (drying hair, dressing, etc.)

My mom had 13 in her house and she said 2 was not nearly enough.
I had one for 5 until I was about 12 and then we added another on. What a life saver.
Even with 2 people in the house one bathroom seems like too little. Isn't it weird how everyone always needs it at the same time?

Wow! That's great. I grew up with 4, one for each person in our family, but now share one with DH. It isn't bad at all, but one time he was desperate to go when I was in the shower, so he went ahead and went and I almost passed out from the fumes when I was in the shower.

In our house growing up, it was pretty standard for another one of the kids to come in and use the bathroom while you were in the shower. My parents didn't really do that, but we did all the time.

We had 1 with four people until I was about 10 & the house was expanded. Then in college I shared 1 bathroom for 4 people again & if someone overslept & skipped class, it would screw the whole schedule up!
Now it is just me & DH with one bathroom. We have to stick to a schedule, b/c we need to leave for work within a few minutes of each other.

thats funny. We had a schedule too and if anyone overslept you were screwed
