Mine isn't too bad...but I do have a trick for you. I use plain old cheap Sauve (for the most part) and the best thing you can do is put it on as soon as you get out of the shower. I use to get super dry, cracked and sometimes bleeding skin...but since I have been doing this, I haven't had any problems in the last couple of years.

Re: Anyone else have really dry skin lately?
I was born with dry skin My whole life I've dealt with excema and psoriasis. Lots of lotion (I like Aveeno 24-hour) and keep exposed parts covered when possible. I always wear gloves

I had skin problems last year and my dermatologish told me to use Cetaphil..that is the best lotion I have ever used to moisturize my skin IMO.

Someone told me that if my skin is dry, its because I'm not drinking enough water. Is that true?

Water is definitely good for hair, skin and nails (and everything else in your body), but if you have really bad dry skin, it's not just from lack of water.
In the winter I have to use Eucerin cream (not lotion) that comes in the jar after EVERY shower, or else I get eczema. In the summer I use Lubriderm, or something similar after a shower.

Re: Anyone else have really dry skin lately?
mine is so bad i have been known to make myself bleed from scratching! I suffer terribly and have tried pretty much everything there is - there are two things I have found to work best.
Gold Bond Medicated Cream Egyptian Magic Cream
The magic cream you have to buy on the web. It's like this weird salve that you can use all over your body for like a million purposes ....I'll try to find the info on it. It's pretty much a miracle! You can use it to heal cuts, soothe dry skin, stretch marks, you can use it as a balm in your hair for shine, wrinkles in your face....it's endless. (Madonna swears by it - which of course is why I have it....) I'll look and see if I can find the website I got it on.

Thanks. My hands are really dry. I guess its a combination of being pregnant, winter and washing my hands all the time.
