As you may have peeped out from my numerous postings of random pictures of my little furbabies, I adore my lil pups.
But during the wedding I have to find a way for someone to watch them while the festivities are going on. I would honestly have them go with me, but I think they would be more freaked by the noise & what is going on that it wouldn't be a good idea.
So I need someone that is good with small dogs that can watch them in our home or are close enough to drop off during the day & pick up later.
Any suggestions from those that have little pups?
Thank you!!

Re: Anyone else have small dogs
Aww that's sweet....what kind of dog do you have? My dog is paper trained so we are leaving it at my parents house with their dog for the day and over night. My grandma will be back at the house that evening.

thank you!. We have Morkies in the house (mart maltese part Yorkie = all love) lol
The little one (4 pounds ish) needs monitoring though because we will probably be out the house for about 10 hours & that is including their feeding times. They are paper trained but I would hate to see those weewee pads after 10 hours

Congrats.!!
That is the best.
My church will not let me do it. Though I know an episcopal church that would allow me to bring my pups, but I kind of feel bad just switching ceremony site just for that. Though I was really tempting.
If i knew that the noise from the dj would freak my dogs out they would be at the reception with me!

What town are you in? You can try calling a local pet sitting service or taken them to a doggie daycare.

I'm in Huntington township. I'm looking into a pet sitter now. I just want to see if I can get one that is referred to me versus cold calling places.

Re: Anyone else have small dogs
My vet watches small dogs, and we always leave my puppy with them whenever we go on vacation... he's actually staying with them the weekend of the wedding because there will be too much going on at the house, especially the day of, and no one is even staying there that night. I don't know if you could check with your dog's vet? I would offer also, but i'll be in Pittsburgh at FH's friend's wedding..
