anyone else have this horrible dream?

anyone else have this horrible dream?

I had the weirdest dream last night. I dreamt that fh called off the wedding. I have no idea why I had it either. It felt so real. I woke up and I had tears on my face. I even had that awful feeling in my stomach u get when u have a break up. I still have it that feeling and it won’t go away. I just feel so depressed today. I keep telling myself it was only dream and fh loves me and wants to marry me but I can’t stop thinking about the dream.

Oh I'm so sorry

Your dream is probably just from anxiety and stress. I think it's normal for brides to have that dream. I wouldn't dwell on it much.

The other night I dreamt that I got to the church and my BMs were not the girls I chose and they were wearing the wrong dresses--some ugly, poofy, fuschia thing. I flipped out at the church and started throwing a tantrum reciting 'why can't anything go right' over and over again.

I actually told FH about my dream, which made me feel better about it.

Yes--I tell FH all my wedding nightmares and he thinks they are all funny!

I think it would also be good to spend some quality alone time together doing nothing wedding related--take a day and go to the beach and have dinner, go out into the city and see a museum or a day trip somewhere. It helps to relax and keep things in focus.

2. The day of my wedding I forgot to get my nails done and all of the nail salons were closed!

We have to schedule quality time in too.

We sat down last week and went over what's going on this week and when we have free time. I think it's kinda funny that we have to do that. He tells me to 'pencil him in.'

Re: anyone else have this horrible dream?

The dream is just from the stress and anxiety of all the planning! Don't read too much into it!

Dreams can seem so real, though. I have been having strange dreams as well. Just last night I dreamt my FH had to go to 'jail' (which was oddly sort of like sleepaway camp) from 10pm - 10am every day for the entire month of August for an 'alcohol-related offense.' It was so weird and all I could think was that he would have to leave our wedding early to go to jail.

(Mind you, we love wine, but we're not heavy drinkers and we never, ever drink and drive. FH wouldn't be having any alcohol-related offenses, LOL!! Too much Paris Hilton in the news!)

But this is just my roundabout way of telling you to not read into it - it was just a dream. You're right, he loves you and wants to marry you - and WILL marry you!

You'll find the time. Don't worry about it--your FH loves you and only you.

Tricia
It was just a dream and you know he loves you, its just nerves, stress getting to you. We are at almost 2 months. There is so much going on and so much to do, just relax today and try not to be depressed.

I'm sorry that you are having nightmares.
I have been having a lot lately where FH leaves me, cheats on me and a number of other things that I know he would never do. I think it is the stress making me a little crazy.
I hope you start having happier dreams.

Re: anyone else have this horrible dream?

Its usually from the stress. With all the planning and hard work its embedded in your subconscious the fear of it all being for nothing. The planning, the family gathering for your special day. Usually when you sleep this allows the thoughts within the subconscious to roam around free. Which is why we get these weird dreams.

Talk to your FH about it if it still bothers you so that you can emotionally reassure yourself. I have had dreams like this before. FH breaks up with me two days before the wedding.

I am sure he will make you feel better.

Re: anyone else have this horrible dream?

Actually, My FH had a dream recently that he and I were dating and even though he really wanted to be with me I told him I didn't want to date him anymore because I had 'other prospects'.
It left him feeling really bad and when he woke up and realized I was next to him he squeezed me really tight.
When he told me about it in the morning we started laughing and it was actually really funny.

Now I tease him that he'd better behave cause I have 'other prospects'.

I think it's totally normal and not to worry!

Those dreams are totally normal!
I dreamt he didn't show up to the church just the reception...
It's all fine, definetly stress an anxiety!

I'm so sorry that you had that dream!!
Sometimes a dream like that means theres going to be a change you didn't expect, like moving, not necessarily something bad.

Feel better!!!
