Dh swears that the weather has no thunder in the area...but it's opouring out there and the thunder is cracking away....it's pretty cool, actually

ME! and power went out for an hour and I had no internet, phone or other electric and I was SO BORED! Thank goodness it came back on

Here in New Hyde Park it is weird - loud, cracking thunder, but no rain yet. In fact, it seems like it is still a little sunny out.

I am up in Brewster- there's lot of thunder and it's pouring.
When I left the Bronx at 1, they mentioned a storm 'north of the LIE' in Nassau.

I'm at work in Port Jeff - I hear some Thunder but no rain. I actually wish it would just POUR already to get rid of the gross humid weather!

I agree about the humidity....FI and I have no air conditioning in our apt and have been fine all summer but last night we literally felt like we were sleeping in an oven..It was awful we each got like 3 hours of sleep ..Hopefully this weather breaks soon.

I didn't hear the thunder because I was working in the basement of the library but someone came in and said that she heard it. No rain yet and that was in Brentwood
