I am so obsessed with this wedding that I end up going to bed with a zillion thoughts of things I have to do. I wake up a couple of times through the night with anxiety. And then wake up at around 6 or 7AM ( I don't have to be at work until 10AM.) It's crazy!!!
This wedding stuff is on my mind constantly. Is everybody else waking up earlier than usual or are you all calm?

Re: Anyone else have trouble sleeping at night?
I hope it gets easier, but I have a feeling -the sooner it gets; the more stressed I'm gonna get. Just two more months, thats all I keep saying to myself. And then I freak..Two More Months, oh my gosh so much to do, so little time.

Here is a trick I learned at the psychiatric hospital that I did my internship: Take a benedryl before bed. It will make you fall asleep.

Sleep.............whats that? It seems the closer the wedding gets, the less sleep i'm getting.

Re: Anyone else have trouble sleeping at night?
I'm already a nigth owl so that doesn't help my case. But the sleeplessness comes and goes. A couple weeks ago I couldn't get into bed before 2am. But right now, I'm tired and probably won't last much longer.

And it gets wrose. I have a big meeting in the AM, my husband is soundly (very inviting) sleeping in our bed -- I snuggle up and it is really lovely --- but I am not sleepy at all.

Re: Anyone else have trouble sleeping at night?
Whats funny is that i feel like everything is under control.. except for sleeping.. I guess i'm more stressed than i even know... I have had a horrible time sleeping this month.. 2 more months to go.. I have slimply sleep as a staple in my medicine cabinet.. but by the time i feel like im not going to go to bed on my own its to late to take one... Thats ok its the first time ive taken a nap in years and im sleeping till noon like i did when i was 15...

Re: Anyone else have trouble sleeping at night?
I am so tired...When I lay down to go to sleep I start thinking about everything that has to be done and then I start dreaming about it. In reality everything is going smoothly but its getting really close and I am starting to feel the pressure to get everything done. I am also sooo excited and that also keeps me up at night!

Re: Anyone else have trouble sleeping at night?
Falling asleep is not the problem for me. Staying asleep is. I guess I go to bed with all the thoughts of the wedding to do's in my head that they either wake me up and then I can't fall back asleep or I have crazy, restless dreams about things. I am so tired. I hope that this stops as we get closer to the wedding or I will need an extra BM to carry the huge bags under my eyes for me.

Re: Anyone else have trouble sleeping at night?
I had the same problem before my wedding. I started using melatonin. It is the chemical in your brain that helps with sleep patterns. It worked well for me. I slept great and did not feel groggy the next day.
