I am still on the first week, and thanks to a surprise pizza party at work, I now have 4 weekly points to go through next Wednesday.
Did anyone else find the first week to be the hardest? any tips or motivational speeches to keep me on track?

Re: anyone else have trouble sticking on WW
Don't let it get you down. It was just one day. Try to stick with low point snacks and meals for as much of the day as possible. My biggest tip is to go to work every day prepared and try not to order in because thats what always ends up getting me in trouble. Progresso soups, oatmeal packs, nutrigrain bars, light popcorn are all on my work list. At home, 1 point mission wraps and eggbeaters (the favored ones) are a good save for me. I know its hard, but you'll do it Janna!

Re: anyone else have trouble sticking on WW
I've been on WW since January, every week once a week I have a 'cheat day'. I don't count points, I go out to eat, I cheat. I usually do this the day I get weighed (after of course). I've lost 19.2 lbs so far. I think that when I don't deny myself I'm able to do better because I do indulge a little. For the rest of the week, I still stick to my points- I COUNT & MEASURE EVERYTHING!! When you go food shopping bring your counter and try to figure out the points ahead of time. Get a WW cook bookand make some low point meals (some of them are REALLY good). Write everything down- that helps me- i dont forget and feel more motivated. Overall, just try to plan in advance for your week!!

There are two plans on WW: The flex and the core. On the core you have certain foods you can eat (whole wheat pasta, veggies, etc.) You can eat as much as you want. The goal is to: eat until your satisfyed.
on the flex plan all foods have a point value based on the number of calories, total fat, and dietery fiber. For example 1 cup milk=2 points, 1 small brownie=6 points. You get a counter and book to figure it out.
You get a certain number of points per day you can use (I get 21!!) based on age, weight, activity level of your job. You have to use all points. You also get 35 extra points a week you can use.
If you're already in your weight range, I'm not sure if you can join- you may need to get a doctor's note. Try calling or stopping by one to ask. You may need to agree to lose no more than the 10-15 lbs. Good luck!!

dont give up...if u mess up...start back on the track as soon as the words come outta your mouth 'i messed up' and dont give up...yes it hards but you have to remember you are not on a diet, your are changing the way you eat and finding ways to work it into your lifestyle

Re: anyone else have trouble sticking on WW
So far i have been very strict with myself, today was my third weigh in, and so far i have lost 8.6 pounds. Everyday i don't use all of my points so i haven't even touched my extra 35 points. I just have to plan everything out a little more than usual. I always bring my lunch to work during the week so that makes it easy, dinner makes it hard but its all about planning. And i just keep all low point snacks around the house
Dont let it get you down and keep with it

Re: anyone else have trouble sticking on WW
I was really successful with it in college - I have had minimal success with it since then. I allow other things in my life to come before changing my eating habits... I need to focus on making myself healthier. I know I can be successful with WW - now I just have to stick to it!

You have to fill up on veggies and fruits. Also, that cabbage soup recipe that WW has- make it. It is 0 points and an awesome filler. Good luck!
