Anyone else having problems with the name change?

Anyone else having problems with the name change?

So I'm trying to fill out the online marriage license application and i keep getting hung up on the part where they ask for the new surname. I'm having such a HARD time giving up my name. Am I the only one?

Yup, I did. I was trying to convince DH to let me hyphenate or keep my last name as we walked up to the court house to file. When I went to the DMV to change it, i started hysterical crying! I'm not even used to it yet! UGH I hate it! Dont worry, you definitely arent the only one!

NEVERMIND i read it wrong

I had no problem, i couldnt wait to do it lol and ppl finally able to pronounce my name

I'm so glad I'm not alone, I'm finding this so difficult. What's crazy is he doesn't even care what I do. I just feel like I SHOULD want to change it, that hyphenating it just makes for such a long name...ugh, i don't know what to do!

my friend had the same problem and it bothered her so much she didnt end up changing it. I think she said when she has kids she might do it.
