i aree..if you dont get along then why have her come? and the meeting thing makes alot of sense also.
when we got engaged John and i took the moms out to dinner to meet eachother. plus they met again at the e-party and she has been to my mothers house a few times so they are cool. his mom has even called my mom so it wont be awkward at all for me. like i said she just has 2 sons so this is a nice experience for her to be a part of, but we get along
its kind of weird because my mom knows his dad from coming to the track with me all the time and she has met the rest of his siblings at the track too, but his mom never goes to the track, so they have never met-its going to be kind of strange and i'll be on all nerves that day

why do you think you will be nervous? do you think they wont get along? both sides of your family will be at the wedding though right? they will probably just spend time with their own families

when my mother and his mother met for the first time it was like walking on egg shells...I had no finger nails left by the end of our lunch...

lol thats funny...my mom can have a dirty mouth and she thought she was so bad and i told her she has nothing on John's mom lol..its where john gets his mouth from

that wouldn't fly with FMIL, FH and his brother and sister don't curse in front of her at all. Whereas all we do is curse in front of my mother
