Anyone Else Invite More Than The Room Can Hold???

Our Max capacity is 280, my guest list is about 340. Anyone else have this problem?

ME!!!!! But I'm thinking of just not sending invitations to some of the people on my list... My room holds 150 and I have about 170-ish people on the list! And I still don't have everyone down yet

Brian still has a bunch of his friends that he already told that they were invited to the wedding. However, I still don't have them on teh list. I don't know what I am going to do. I started deleting the phrase, 'AND GUEST' off some of our friends. I have enough single friends, a few are bound to hook up that night anyway!

I don't have that problem. Be carfeul, you may not have room to sit everyone, but more-so, when people are walking around, dancing etc, it may be tight.

I did
Our room holds 240 and our orginial list was 286!
But we cut it down and only invited 257 - we are still waiting for 7 more No's to fit in the room and the response date is Friday but I hear you get most of the No's at the end.
Make sure you don't invite more than 15% unless you have a lot of people you think will say No (out of state, country etc.) You woudl hate to be stuck all squished.

I had 2 sets rsvp cards printed. One with a rsvp date 4 weeks before the 2nd. This way, i could invite my 'b' list without them ever knowing...just a lil trick...

WOW SEPT2703...That's creepy.....Our room also held 240 and we also invited 257!!!!!

We ended up having 198.

soo happy to hear I'm not the only one! I invited 173 and the room only holds 150

I sure hope we get some no's! So far they have been all YES!!

I have the same problem - the room holds 165 MAX & we've got 193 on the list!! Holding onto about 15 invites hoping to get some 'no's' so I can at least send them out, cuz we already told those peeps they were invited!!
