I think it depends on the designer, shop you get if from, etc.
I've heard anywhere from 12-6 months.

depends on the designer
EOM takes aprox 10 months
other designers take less time aprox 6 months to get into the store. and you want to leave time for fittings so you should order the dress anywhere from 8-10 months before hand.

Mine is a Davinci, and it is taking 3 months. I would go as early as possible, only because some dresses will take 10 months, and you don't want to sacrifice the dress of your dreams, due to lack of time...

I ordered my Demetrios in September, they told me 10 months.

I ordered my Amsale dress from the Wedding Salon of Manhasset mid-November and they said it would be in at the end of March. So what is that...4 to 4 1/2 months. I think it really depends on where you by the dress and who the designer is. HTH

I ordered mine in the beginning of August - it is supposed to come in mid-March - 7.5 months.

haven't ordered mine yet, but probably will after the holidays... and after i lose the christmas bulk

Also, when figuring time...don't forget to figure in time for fittings, etc. not just the mfg. estimated ship times.

I don't have a gown yet, but will probably start looking over Christmas break. I wanted to lose a bit more weight first, but figure I can always get it altered. I don't want to take the chance the my 'dream' dress (whatever that may be) won't come in in time.

I know what gown I am getting, but I haven't ordered it yet. I'm going to wait until after the holidays, prob jan or feb to order.

I ordered mine about 8 months in advance. Some shops will charge you to 'rush' the order if it is 6 months or less.

they told me it would take 10 mnths I ordered mine in march and it wasn't due in till the end o f december but it came in the end of august so it really does depend on desinger and place you order from
