Curly you and I are so here -----><------ they are ok, but I do not want them on me, licking me or sniffing me. Then there are people that let them lick them in their mouth....can we say yuck!!! dog lick other dog butts. I do not care how clean you all say a dog tongue is, people and animals are not supposed to get that close......IMO Roger says dogs and people are not supposed to be in the house together no matter how clean or how small they are. He does not like that at all

Cats suck your breath and lick the butter, I cannot stand cats

LMFAO!!!!!

They crawl all over everything and very territorial. And they mark their territories and then it takes forever to get that smell out. They look at you funny (well my friends cats always looked at me funny) and if you sit on their spot on the sofa oh boy they dont take too kindly to that (again my friends cat I swear just had it in for me)

I just have to jump in with my two cents and let you guys know that I have been reading this thread and CRINGE every time I see a new post! I LOVE ANIMALS!! I have THREE CATS, fish, and a python, and I love all of them like they were my own children (ok, maybe not the fish). And as soon as we get a house, we are getting a dog.

Some dogs I have no patience for, like my in-laws'. I can't stand that dog, she's so poorly trained and is too hyper and drives me nuts. Plus she has the worst dragon breath I have ever come across... I swear when she's standing next to me I feel like my pant leg is going to catch fire. It's gross.

Other than that, I am a huge animal advocate and I just had to post because I am totally outnumbered here, but that makes me want to jump up and down and wave my little arms anyway!!!

ETA: Shamma... I don't let my cats in the fridge, so they can't get at the butter.

I don't let them jump on the table or counter either, nowhere that has anything to do with food preparation or serving.

Ok wait, a few yrs ago, I went to my girlfriends house.

I guess the cat didn't wipe good enough? He left Sh iT prints on her table after coming from the litter box and jumping on the table.

There are people that let the animals in the kitchen or cats on the table when they are cooking I do not think that is sanitary at all.

I would not advocate hurting any animals, let me make this clear, but I do not want them in my bed, my kitchen or on me or on my furniture or my tables.....stay in your dog house.

GROSS!!!!!!!!!! I agree 100%, I don't even care what other people think, I think it's gross, LOL!!!!!!! My DH's ex Dog (he is now at his mother's house) is so stupid. He chases his own shadow and sees himself in a mirror and barks at himself. DUMMY!! lOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

A friend of mine has a great dane - he's so hyper. It's scary because he's really big - like the size of a pony. He's heavy too. I went over to her house once in the summer, of course I had on sandals, that dog stepped on my toe and smashed it

That or she didnt keep it's litter clean.

I like well behaved large dogs who know who's boss, doesnt bark at everything and pretty much mind it's business and is smart. Can I begin to say how HARD it is to find one of these??? I hate training them.. so much effort.. just act right! That and I hate walking a dog. In the summer or spring.. sure nice walk.. in the winter or rain.. not so cool.. such a pain. But I do like dogs overall. Just take away the drool, barking, humping, smell, training, walking and jumping and we are good to go! Actually had a doberman that fit the bill.

Cats.. I have one. I dont like the jumping, meowing, begging for food (goes for dogs), coughing up hairballs (god the sound is disgusting), scratching or tempermental. Found one. He's great. Very cool kitty.

Fish.. Like them had them all colors.. high maintance.

Birds.. Jim's grandma has one here. Canary.. good and far from our room I get annoyed at the tweeks.

Snakes.. great animals but not a whole lot of fun some days.

Spiders... Entertaining *shrug* People freak tho.

Ferrets ... Stinky but fun

Im terrified if I have children I'll get annoyed if they cry. I just hate annoying sounds period. heh So basically I am SOOOO not into small dogs.. majorly annoying! Cute to look at .. I couldnt own one though.

Whatnow... Yes, python as in snake. Ball python... he's about 4 feet long and eats live rats. Wanna come over???

i think what really really bothers me is animals just have a thing for freshly cleaned laundry. Nice laundry sitting in its basket waiting to be put away I ask why does a cat or dog feel the need to jump in that basket and curl up into your clean laundry

Pets should not be at the dinner table, on the couch, have a spot on the bed or hog the blankets. I dont crawl into their homes or beds they shouldnt be crawling up in mine.

And if you dont know how to use the toilet or wash your hands then get the heck out of the bathroom
