Anyone else not thrilled with the dining and bedding choices out there?
FH and I have gone to every store and every website trying to figure out where to register but we have not found one casual dining pattern or one bedding ensemble that we can live with!
Anyone else having this problem?

I got my bedding at Fortunoff's beautiful stuff!! Casual dining I haven't been so lucky with either.

What stores have you tried? Maybe we can suggest some others that you might not have thought of??

For casual dining, I have plain white dishes. Their great because I can change the placemats to get different colors and the go with everything.
Plain white is also classic and doesn;t really go out of style if you can;t find a more trendy style you like.

I had a coupleof problems picking out a comforter set. And we only really had two casual choices of dinner ware to choose from. Yeah really hard when you think you you'll have this stuff for a really long time and people will spend a lot of money on this stuff.

I was having trouble with bedding also, I just found one I liked, (hopefully FH likes it too,) but I found it a store im not currently registered yet so I will opening registry number 4

i got my casual dining set from target- they are yellow square dishes- yea a bit funky but thats what i really liked
for my bedding it was a funny story- originally i had picked out a awesome macys 'hotel' bedding- but then when i went to the store to look for it I saw that it can only be dry cleaned and since we will have cats- thats a real big headache to wash it so we said forget it
so one day I was walking through roosevelt field mall and I just so happen to walk through the home section and I found two awesome bedding sets ( one for summer/spring, and one for winter/fall) so i bought them right then and there
moral of this story: you just never know where you will find things- keep looking girlie! something will pop up!!!

WORD!!! Not only do I not like what's out there, when I finally find something I do like- it gets discontinued within a week or so and that's the end of that!

that is exactly what we did....we went with white so it went with any color placement/table linen. and we looked at sites like Mikasa and Pfaltzgraf, you can always get additional coordinating pieces, and if you break a piece it can be replaced :)
try Fortunoff's for bedding--they have a huge selection

yessss, we had the same problem , couldnt find a casual bedding that wasnt laced, gold, etc,, Nice, but not casual , same for dishes,, LOL
so i went online M A C Y S ,, they have lotsa casual bedding,, & a dinnerware set by fiesta , every color under the sun,,
