Anyone else on March 11th?

Close! I'm getting married on March 12th. We got engaged exactly a month (to the day) after you guys.

Pretty cool! Ok..so our countdown begins together....Heres a question, How much have you gotten done( because I just KNOW Im behind!)
I have:
Hall booked
Church Booked
Photgrapher 9 family...but first meeting next week)
DJ: picked out, need to make appoitment
BM dresses: Picked out....order during late summer
Tiara/jewelery: bought
Church programs: bought
Favors: decided on

Thats it( notice its not much besides hall/church...little things are easier for me...lol)

I don't think you're behind. We can't compare ourselves to some of the hyper-brides we read about (no offense, ladies!). I promised that I would not make myself or my fiance' crazy. We agreed to take our time, enjoy ourselves and

Haven't began to look at BM dresses or think about flowers or dj.

Question: When are you planning to mail your invites? I'm hoping to have everything addressed and ready to go by November, so I don't have to think about it over the holidays. I will probably mail them out January 1. Have you given this any thought?

Yeah I have been thinking about it, Its hard with the holidays just before, and FH's cousin is getting married beg. of December, so we are trying to not 'overload' a lot of people with two weddings, two showers etc ( we share about 75-100 guests) So we would like to mail ours earlier as we believe we will get a lot of no's from oot's and need to figure something out...so I think we will buy the invites in Sept. That way we have time to print envelopes, assemble them and get address's correct( and not have to rush)
We wanted to mail 10 weeks in advance, wo that would be Christmas week...ahhhh...It will either be like you beginning of Jan. or maybe Dec. 15th or so?

I'd be afraid to mail my invites December 15th -- what if they get mixed in with Christmas cards and get lost in the Post Office craziness? Am I being overly cautious? Maybe...

The weather is a small concern of mine. When I was about to book, my mother (who also got married in March, btw) warned me about snow. I thought I was so clever when I said that if it snows in March, it is only an inch or two.

We got six inches the following week. UGH!

All that really matters is that by the time we lay our heads down that night, we are married. If it snows, so be it!

I'm worried about the timing of Christmas too...same thoughts as you....But I dont wanna wait till first week in Jan...That gives me 8 weeks ( I guess 9) So when do you make the RSVP date then??
weather- whats a little snow? LOL ( I wont be saying that if it does!) May look romantic though!
