Anyone else spending New Years alone??

Honey has to work (3rd year in a row he's working on New Years)... My daughters will be asleep by the time the ball drops, so I'll be all alone. Anybody else out there in the same boat?

I think everyone gets the same thing. Filet mingon (sp?) shrimp and chicken or something like that. Not sure. I was never sober when dinner came around, and I was lucky if I ate anything.lol

all i had was a hamburger and tator tots

a nice filet mignon sounds good

I was craving pizza bagels.... So I went to the store and got some!!!

Yup...hubby is a chef, and all I can make is pizza bagels (well-english muffins).....what is wrong with that picture?

Making onion soup

Step 5 Bake at 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) for 10 minutes, or just until cheese is melted

Well I was up to this part of the soup process. Was on the phone talking Jennbaby and I kept going back and forth to the kitchen to check on the soup. The cheese was NOT melting and it was really starting to annoy me.

Jenn says to me go check the soup.

So I do.....

this is why I DONT cook......

I forgot to turn the oven on

I do the same thing. Or, I burn everything. I'm no Betty Crocker and his family makes fun of me all the time

I have the banquets home dessert chocolate lava cake mix. 5 minute prep, 45 minutes in the oven....hmmmm.....now i think I have a chocolate lave cake to be made and when its done a scoop of vanilla ice cream. yum

You're not alone!! Hubby is here but has to be up at 5AM for work so he will be in bed by 10:30! I'll be sitting here by myself when the ball drops! Happy New Year ladies!

I usually add a little cinnoman sugar on it..it's sooooooo good.

FH is sleeping already!! HE has to work at 6 tomorrow, and had to work at 6 today, he is a cook too!!

So, we went to Cheesecake Factory for Dinner tonight, he has all kinds of connections there since he used to work there, aned then came home, he is so tired, my poor baby....

He did say I can wake him up at 11:30 to watch the ball drop!

He probably will not wake up tho....so I will be 'alone' with you girls!

Yup, me too ladies, FH is bardtending to pick up extra cash for the wedding.

OH well, all we would do is watch tv and play video games anyway LOL

FH called me for the 4th time. It's so quiet in the airport. I told him their seems to be an Iron Chef marathon going on and their is an Law and Order SVU marathon going on so my night seems pretty much set
