seriously, i think FH's family is from another planet, the way they have been acting altely. i can't go into details... but let me just say, FIL's s u c k !!! thank god FH is so wonderful and understanding - and normal! i keep telling myself, only 4 more months
i wonder what my FIL's think of me and my family? you always hear about in-law troubles... but FH is going to have in-laws too, and he loves them! what gives?

exactly! they are 'good people' but no one gives a crap about our wedding, they don't show any interest unless i bring it up first - and then my FMIL has the nerve to say she feels left out, and is upset because i am not inviting someone she wants to invite! she also made a comment about how i only show her wedding things after they are done, and she didn't know about my shower until after it was scheduled... well, DUH! you aren't contributing $hit to my wedding, so, no, you don't get to have a say! sometimes i wish we could just elope!

My friend's shower was last month and at the last minute her FMIL didn't go! Her excuse? She had to work the next day and had a headache (not a migraine). Basically, she didn't feel like going. My friend's FH was so embarrased! I felt so bad for him.

No i have had those same thoughts.....but i was lucky to figure out that his family along with him at times come from.......URANUS!!!!!!! That solves everything!!!! I acutally feel better knowing that, that is their home planet
