anyone else think that there SO just doesnt get them?

not like wheny ou complain or something and they dont get what you are saying...i mean, do you think they dont get the essence of 'you'? you know what i mean?

ditto - he doesn't get when i am joking sometimes. and when he jokes with me, he thinks i am taking him seriously.

its normal part of life. 9 yrs later and my hubby doesnt get me half the time.

I 100% agree ... while he knows me very well, there are times I just can tell he doesn't entirely 'get me' either.

But I think that is mainly due to the general differences between men and women than the fact he doens't 'know me' per se

yes felicia! me and my girlfriends are always saying that. yet, i have guy friends who TOTALLY get me, because they are LIKE me. but i guess men in general are so different.

I don't agree at all. Although we have our differences and sometimes don't agree, or can't even understand where the other is coming from (ie huge fight a few weeks ago because I was snacking on peanuts before dinner. He thinks it's incredibly rude because he's making dinner, I think I'm not 5 and can easily gauge how much I can eat and not spoil my appetite.) Although we have these differences, he totally 'gets me' and vice versa. That's part of what's so attractive about him. That's why I married him.
