anyone else unable to sleep?
Scott is away
for business and it really effects my sleep. Then add to that the fact that I have 29 days left and I toss and turn ALL night. I am like a zombie. Can you believe my dreams are now about picking one of 2 possible menu designs! This is insane. I KNOW none of my guests will care one way or the other. In fact they will forget I even had menus the day after the wedding BUT still I toss and turn worrying about picking the 'wrong' one.
Anyone else out there a worry-wart like me?

Re: anyone else unable to sleep?
In the past week I had a dream that the photographer forgot to put film in the camera and then last night that people brought their pets to the wedding! And I still have a couple months to go!!

Re: anyone else unable to sleep?
I think its only natural for a bride-to-be to worry about so many things. I find that I am very indecisive about a lot of things lately. I wonder if I picked the right style veil, the right dress, the right hall. I know I have the right man & thats what matters most. I think I'm just a worry-wart.

Re: anyone else unable to sleep?
I have nightmares that I am running so late, everyone leaves and the priest tells me he can't do it. I also dreamed the limo driver refused to pick me up because I forgot to remind them.

Re: anyone else unable to sleep?
I've been really tired so I sleep but the dreams are starting up again. I don't feel stressed or worried (at least not about the wedding) but I have these crazy wedding dreams. Last night's included: the ceiling collapsed and the hall flooded, the dj showed up one in fatigues and the other in his mailman uniform, the DJ played an song the guests requested and when the guests got wind of this they were requesting songs that were really really bad to be funny, the food was disgusting mush and I spent the whole night crying! I laugh at them when I wake up but at night I am so angry and restless.

Re: anyone else unable to sleep?
Michele - you responded to my recent post regarding rsvp nightmares, so you know I'm worrying too! I don't know which is worse - getting no sleep, or sleeping and having nightmares and waking up in a sweat. Neither are pleasant, but the day will be here before we know it...

Re: anyone else unable to sleep?
Michele, it is all the last minute stuff on your mind. I KNOW your menus will be beautiful whichever you choose. Do you have pictures of them? I will let you know what I think if you want. Everything will be wonderful!

Re: anyone else unable to sleep?
Thanks gals. I KNOW in my heart that things will be fine but dam not sleeping is not good for me. I get very cranky
Pets coming to the wedding is a new one. I haven't dreamed that just yet. Do I have to pay to feed the animals?
I am sure my hall would charge me for that too.

Re: anyone else unable to sleep?
Michele - so glad you posted this! I am not that stressed about my wedding - it is 9 months away, but had insomnia last night so badly. I was on LI Weddings around 5am and saw that there were 9 other users on too, so I knew I was not the only one! I didnt fall asleep till around 6:30 last night! I hear you on the zombie thing
I hope this goes away before I am like Al Pacino in the movie Insomnia!
Hope you get catch some ZZZZ's soon!

Re: anyone else unable to sleep?
my wedding is in 17 months and I have weird dreams like the wedding gown changes colors as I put it on or that it looks like a BM gown or I have really good dreams about the wedding and I cannot wait for it to get here and then I am up all night. When my FH is not here I sleep so so, it depends.

Re: anyone else unable to sleep?
Michele.. try not comming on here or thinking about that day before you go to bed.take a shower, watch some tv ..
I wish I could take my own advise
Maybe there is just no way around it..
Take a deep breathe and try to relax..
If that doesnt work.. we can always go get drunk
lol

Re: anyone else unable to sleep?
I have never been a good sleeper. Infact I wake up several times each night. Last night I had my first wedding nightmare. My wedding day was here, but my gown was not. My dress was shipped to another state. I still have 6 months to go! This is way to early for nightmares!

Re: anyone else unable to sleep?
I am totally a worry wart. I've been having problems sleeping at night as well. I come home from work so exhausted that all I want to do is hit the pillow. All I think about at night is what do I need to do next and worry about things not going smooth. I can't help it, but I wish I could stop worrying so much. Can you say the word STRESS
