I cant sleep. I am wide awake and I dont know why. I had a terrible headache and took 2 excedrine and I still have the headache (not as bad), but I am wide awake. FI is out like a light.

Re: anyone else up
Yep..I'm always up at this time. Waiting for FH to get home like I always do. He is a police officer, so this has become my everyday routine. I'll probably go to bed about 4 and then wake at at 9 for school. I'm actually used to it. Gives me a chance to catch up and see what's going on with the boards cause I never get a chance to post and miss all the good talk .

Re: anyone else up
FI is off on Mondays and Tuesdays so its nice being able to go to bed at the same time. Wed - Sun he doesnt get home till after midnight and I wait up for him.
I've been having bad sleeping patterns recently. The whole not working thing, finances, bills, and mom stress I just cant get a good night's sleep.
Tonight though is bad, FI and I had a little argument today (we made up) and its just been one of those days.
A good note is I did get a call from Bear Sterns to go in for an interview. Its for a trading floor admin assistant. Its a temp to hire position. I hope the interview goes well. I have trading floor experience which not many admins have so thats in my favor for this position.
So I am awake and just catching up on everything I missed. I only read a little before but I think I am going to catch up on everything

Good Luck with the interview!!!!
Everytime I have to do something important (like interviews) I get extremely nervous, my silly friend taught me something to do which makes it easy for me. She said before i go in just repeat to myself 'They're just organs' (referring to the interviewer). It actually works and I laugh. As a matter of fact, when I went to the GTG in Merrick I said it to myself a couple of times before I walked in. . I am such a shy person sometimes. . I'm trying to get over that.
Lots of Luck on your interview and don't worry they're just organs.

LOL that is funny. I got a laugh from it.
I get so nervous the day of interviews. I get up at least 4 hours before I have to be their. I usually get very cotton mouth, stomach aches and very hot. I have to carry with me a bottle of water and crackers because I just get so nervous. Then once the interview is over I am perfectly fine.
Someone told me that I am interviewing them just as much as they are interviewing me.
I just hate rejections. I had 2 rejections in a matter of 24 hours. One Friday afternoon and the next day Saturday afternoon. It gets very discouraging
But I know its on Thursday and I am just going to be relaxed.

Re: anyone else up
I just recently had an interview with the head of the Teachers Education Program at my school. Oh my gosh, that had to be the worst and when i'm really nervous i have to use the bathroom (i mean really use ). I start to shake and my voice quivers and then when she told me I was in, I kept on thanking her and thanking her , a whole lot. When I left and thought about what I did, i laughed so much that I tripped and fell down the hill . The worse thing was that everyone actually saw it because classes had just let out.

OMG
The worst interview I had was when I told someone off. They just really aggrivated me. I got their 20 min early because I know their is always paperwork. My initial meeting was to be with Noel at 10:00. She kept me waiting till 10:45. At 10:45 this gentlemen comes to me and says he is interviewing me and literally just got handed my resume. So their he was reading my resume in front of me and asking me bogus questions. Then the receptionist barges in that their is an urgent call and he takes it IN FRONT OF ME. He was on the phone for 30 minutes. Hangs up asks me 1 more thing then tells me he is going to get Noel. So I am left in the conference room for over 20 minutes while he so calls gets noel. Then another man walks in, doesnt even sit down, asks me stupid computer questions (I think he was having computer problems and had no idea what to do) then tells me he will get Noel. About 20 min pass and he comes back to tell me Noel is behind closed doors and can not be disturbed. Then told me where the exit was. He wasnt even going to walk me out.
I got so P-off I told him off.
Another interview I had they were more concerned about my salary then my skills. One woman even yelled at me, (I had to see 4 people). I told them I left the company and she yelled and lectured me of how ridiculous of a move that was for me because I had no job lined up. I got so mad I told her well I wasnt happy and I wasnt going to sit in an environment where I cringe having to go to work and where I come home crying. I thought I seriously blew it. 2 days later I got a phone call that they wanted me to come back in and everything was all set. Then 10 minutes later the same woman called me back and said oh wait you dont have your degree this just isnt going to work out sorry call us when you are ready to work and have your degree. (I never lied to her, she knew from the interview I have 4 years of college and 6 1/2 years industry experience just no degree)
I've had horrible experiences with companies that I get so nervous about going because of the bad experiences and it also makes me so bitter and angry.
