I was thinking about it, just because the girls will be able to wear the dress again. But I don't know how the black dresses will look in pics. Anyone have pics to show us?

I love the idea of the girls being able to use the dress again. I also love the elegance of a black and white wedding. JUst not sure what other color to add in just a touch of.

my girls will be in floor length black dresses. i'm letting them choose their own dresses so they will be comfortable and so they can wear them again everyone needs a nice black dress!
my color for flowers, etc is lavendar, so their bo-ks will be purples and offwhites to offset all the black...

If I do black dresses I think I will do pink rose bouquets for the girls.

I think you can get away with black all yr around. Winter wedding black is verry apporate. You can get away with black with red, white, dark green, etc... Spring, yes spring, you could pink and black, or even lanvender, yellow, etc... Summer, just like spring, However I hope you won't have a beach wedding. If you do black in a the summer be kind to your BP and have your July wedding indoors. Fall you could do black and gold, red, orange, etc...

I am doing black for my BM's and am thinking of going with a deep dark red for the flowers. The reception hall at the Bourne is very white so I wanted a rich color on the tables. I am getting married in Nov.

I am getting dresses that are half Pink have black. I am having all my flowers in all shades of pink and white. My invitations will be pink and black. Oh, and flower girls dresses will be pink and ivory. My wedding is in June, I didn't want to have black because of the month, but it looked so good on everyone. It is such a flattering color on all body types. Here is pics
All of my girls are in black, they got to choose their own style, which they were very happy about. I am having Burgundy as an accent color. Burgundy roses, and FG dress is black velvet on top, with a Burgundy organization on bottom. ill Post Pics next month when it happens....lol

I'm doing a black and white theme, with a touch of silver in the decor. The girls are wearing all black and their bouqet is a mix of black magic roses and fuschia mini callas in a black satin purse.
Getting married next month, evening ceremony.

Well I'm sort of using black as the BM color. It's a pink satin dress with a black chiffon overlay. Very pretty actually. I wanted to try my best and find them something they might actually be able to wear again. And that is what they chose. I am ...my dress is below. We ordered them in black and strapless. The picture hardly does it justice. I am carrying an ivory bouquet with very light pink roses, and my girls are carrying, all different colored pinks.
I am starting to think about doing it, I was originally going to do a dark red but, a lot of people have done that recently. The girls were wearing black in a wedding we went to recently and it looked really elegant.

I got married in November and don't get me wrong I love the eggplant colored dresses I picked for my BM but if I had another choice I would go with black gowns...SO elegant!

We're getting married June 25th and the bridesmaids are wearing black. The flower girls are wearing cream with red accent colors and we're using red roses. The theme of our wedding is a hollywood/film theme. It's a lot of fun, and the bridesmaids have been loving that they get a beautiful black dress!
