I thought it was the best episode. NExt to the one where billy flipped out on Nate. Although I find Lilly Taylor annoying and can't wait until Brenda is back!

We were in shock ... especially b/c there were rumors about a main character being killed off! I never saw it going in that direction though. Lili Taylor's char. reminds me of my SIL ... terrible but true. She's very annoying also.

liz ... It's always reruns on Mon nights at 10, but I think if its on tonight its on at 11 ... I'm pretty sure it runs on Wed night also.

I finally saw it last night. I really liked it. Confused by the beginning...but the light when on towards the end LOL Very freaky.

Liz ... I know exactly what you mean. If I don't get to watch it Sun, then I usually tape it & watch it. Even 10's too late for me now!

I was totally confused...I knew they wouldn't kill off Nate, but why did they change his character completely? And when did he marry his ex? What happened to Brenda? I kept thinking it was all some dream he was going to wake up from.
I missed a few episodes at the end of last season...

I think this first episode is taking place about 5 months after the surgery. His daughter was not even 3 months last season. I think I am getting myself confused...lol.

Latina, you're right. I think he made mention of it being 7 months later, but I don't understand all that happened in that time.
I don't even know how he ended up in surgery, or back with his ex? was that the season finale?

I think he had a brain tumor that is why he needed a surgery.
The final episode they were not together. She had the baby and I think that he had just started to spend time with the baby but thats it. He left Brenda because she was cheating on him with every man in sight.

He was diagnosed with a brain Arterial Venous Malformation(AVM for short.) He had to have brain surgery to remove it. It's a congenital mass of blood vessels in the brain. It ended last season with him going into surgery. I missed the premiere and I'll have to catch it tonight!

ok, so I didn't miss much from last season - I knew about the AVM and need for surgery eventually, I just didn't remember him going in.
The premiere was just weird. We're supposed to accept that all this stuff (Nate and Lisa fall in love again and get married) has happened and we don't get to find out how?
